The aims of worth educating

We believe every young person is valuable, can contribute and is worth educating.

We deliver interactive, activity based workshops, guided and informed by the now mandatory RSHE guidelines as well as the needs of the school and the individual.  Sessions are aimed at pupils within Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 and can be adapted for pupils in Upper Key Stage 2.

Our workshops cover: consent, healthy relationships, pornography & social media wellbeing and content designed specifically for boys and young men around healthy masculinity and mental health

“An engaging, affirming session that helped students feel seen, heard and empowered to rethink masculinity.”

Gethin McCrory, Head of PD, St Mary’s Catholic school, Newcastle

53% of young men said they feel like society expects them to never ask for emotional support.

Future Men survey

Our All To Play For workshops guide male participants through key topics in safe, non-judgmental spaces, including friendships and relationships, male mental health, identity and purpose, masculinity Vs misogyny, empathy and accountability and standing up against sexual harassment

“The way Ben approaches these vital but sensitive issues is incredibly well thought through. He is invested in the boys he supports and they respond to him quickly. The fact that boys who have taken the All To Play For course in previous years rush to shake Ben’s hand when they see him in school is a mark of the impact he has had.”

Caroline Park, PD curriculum lead, Bede Academy, Blyth, Northumberland

We deliver tailored sessions to primary and secondary schools, SEND settings and alternative provision, youth projects and community groups.
